You've done it! You've got the email from PADI and your certification is attached to your online account!

So what's next, you've smashed the skills and taken your first dives under the water. There's a world to explore and no better time to start than now.
Before you go striding off into the deep, we think there are a couple of things you should do.
Record your dives!
There is a noticeable difference in the divers that record their dives and those that don't! Recording your weight, air used, what equipment you wore, even down to what you saw and how you felt is important in every dive but especially in your earlier dives. How will you know what weight to use if it's not written down, will your air consumption be getting better?

There are a couple of options for you at this point;
Take a course
Looking to meet people, progress your diving and build your confidence? Then a course is the next logical step for you. Most tend to steer towards the Advanced Open Water (AOW) but there are a couple of options available to you.
