About the event
Devil's Bridge is a dive site located on the River Lune near Kirkby Lonsdale. Divers can enjoy a drift dive in clear water between two bridges, observing fish and exploring underwater rock formations. Access to the dive site is relatively easy from the shingle beach upstream of the old bridge. Diving is permitted at certain times of the year, and all divers must contact the local Tourist Information Office in advance. The site is known for its deep rock pools, good visibility, and the presence of various fish species such as trout, eels, and occasionally salmon.
